About Us

Who are we?
We are a group of middle school aged students with two advisors. We make & design robots that compete in Vex Robotics Compitions. We are students from Mansfield Middle School (MMS) located in Mansfield, Connecticut. We have been to & had advanced to the Vex Robotics Word Compition in the past. We hope our robots are able to achive that goal.
What do we do?
Our goal is to pick up as many "Dounuts" as possible with our robot. There is also a 20 second atomous. During the 20 second atomous, the robots run from a program, no operater control. It is at the beggining of every match.

What is this "Programming"?
As you noticed, we mentioned "Programming" thoughout this website. We use EasyC v2 & v4 for our Cortex & Mircocontrollers. We have two working VexNet controllers. One is shipping. (We also have a broken one. But that dosen't matter.) Our main team programmers; Sam & Mike do the programming. I would like to take this time to thank Avery Fried for teaching us how to program. We wouldn't know how to program if it wasn't for him. He is no longer on our team because he is now in high school. He comes on Mondays to help. We will have some programs avalible for download if you have the software in the Members' Area.
